ABOUT VETERANS’ MEMORIAL WALK

Veterans’ Memorial Walk, located inside the Bryant Commons park in Hinesville, Georgia, is a place of reverence, respect and reflection to honor all American military veterans.

Entry to the Veterans’ Memorial Walk will be marked with a monument and American flags. Guests will follow a counterclockwise circular trail winding around a serene lake, which will contain a bronze monument to symbolize the im-portance of remembrance. With shade provided by palm trees, moss-covered oaks and magnolias, the reflection areas will be marked with benches and military crests of The United States Army, The United States Navy, The United States Air Force, The United States Marine Corps and The United States Coast Guard. A sand-blasted, glass cube monument inscribed with words of character distinction will overlook a serene lake and represent all veter-ans of the United States military.

In addition, the memorial walk will dedicate a special monument to honor America’s missing in action and prisoners of war.

This patriotic, emotional memorial will attract visitors from near and far. With such a prominent military presence in the City of Hinesville, the Veterans’ Memorial Walk will be a place of pride for local residents and military veterans.
