Patriotic Marketing Opportunity!
Honor Military Service Members
or your Veteran Employees
The Hinesville Military Affairs Committee is offering your
organization the opportunity to show appreciation to those who now serve, have
served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country by purchasing
a 2-foot-by-2-foot Georgia grey granite paver that will become a part of the
Veteran Memorial Walk at Bryant Commons.
The Coastal Empire is rich in military history. Our community proudly served prior to the
revolutionary war with the Militiamen.
Today, our communities surround the military bases of Fort Stewart and
Hunter Army Airfield. The history of
those bases goes back to WWII when then, Camp Stewart, served as a training
base for the Army’s Air Defense Artillery who fought in WWII, and Hunter served
many Aviation units who flew during the war as well. Those bases were also home
the 24th Infantry Division for more than 20 years and are now home
for the 3rd Infantry Division; one of only ten remaining divisions
in our active army. Through the years, the military mission and units have changed,
but our communities are where so many service members and their families have
called home.
With a long history of military support and significance,
the Veterans of our community feel it’s only fitting that the city have a place
to celebrate and remember our Veterans-past, present and future. We are
currently constructing a Veterans Memorial Walk at Bryant Commons. We’ve raised funds and received donated
services amounting to just over $500,000 and the project is more than halfway
complete. We are reaching out to you with the hope that you’ll be a part of our
final campaign push to complete the Veterans Memorial Walk by Veterans Day
2017.
We are a 501c3 organization, so your contribution is tax
deductible. On the back you will find a
copy of our paver application and instructions on where to send the completed
form. All donors who complete an application prior to 15 May 2017 will also be
recognized in a special “Thank You” Memorial Day Ad placed in our local paper.
